Dark Flash Fiction: Once Failed
This dark flash fiction came to me while I was thinking about shirking writing for the day. Instead, I figure I should do what I can. I hope you enjoy this short short story/micro-ficiton
When she felt his caress on her cheek, she remembered the sting from his anger and the love from his eyes. She knew she needed the discipline and accepted that she was incorrect in speaking out. She bowed her head and felt the color rush to her face as she chewed her bottom lip. “I am sorry, master. I promise it will not happen again.”
Her master’s hand moved from her cheek to grab her by the throat. She shuddered as he squeezed tight enough to block her breathing. “I know you will not; you have failed me only once.”
I hope it’s consensual….nice snippet of story, gets the mind and imagination gears clanking away nicely!
