Enlightened Poetry: Ice Cream Heavens
This enlightened and uplifting poem was written when I was heading out to work and saw the greatest sunrise I think I have seen in a while. I am glad I have the power of poetry at my fingertips now. Enjoy!
Strawberry dollops across blueberry skies
The glowing orange core streaks across
Scooping up an ice cream heaven
Chilled to the bone, encroaching brain freeze
The universe consumes another day
Leading to sweetened tooth decay
As the system of Sol is satisfied
Hanging glutted in azure skies
I will always look back and remember
My Ice Cream Heavens
