Short Short Story: Happily Wedding After

This short short story was from a failed attempt at a micro fiction. Hope you enjoy.

I glanced over at my pants resting on the ground as I stood on the scale, chewing on my bottom lip as I wondered how far off my diet I strayed during the wedding. I hoped the weight I lost would be something I could keep off, but the sweet tooth and the many bottles of wine got the best of me. I groaned and shifted my gaze to the scales read out. I gasped. I cleared my throat. I called out to my roommate in frustration, “Dorian, did you mess with the scale again?”

“Yeah, about last night…”
